Kia ora and Welcome! I’m very much looking forward to helping you. Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I am a licensed/registered professional Psychologist with a doctorate in psychology. I am originally from the US and immigrated with my husband to NZ a few years ago. One of the reasons we moved to NZ was for all the amazing outdoor sports. I love hiking, scuba diving, mountain biking, camping and generally spending as much time in nature and around animals as possible. Yes, I still get stupidly excited by all the sheep and cows here in NZ :)!

Bio
Before becoming a psychologist I was a professional singer, dancer and actress. I am incredibly fortunate to have travelled and worked with many different people of many different backgrounds and cultures. While I loved performing and being creative, I didn’t feel that I was contributing as much to society as I would like. Because I had experienced traumatic deaths in my family at a young age, I felt drawn to helping others who were experiencing the pain of grief and trauma. For the past 10 years I have worked as a Professional psychologist in a wide variety of settings and provided support and assistance to many individuals and families from all over the world.
